Records Management currently stores long and short term hard copy records of the Navajo Nation financial records, on a 7 years retention period. After the 7 year retention, the signature process begins and approval by the Office of the Deputy Attorney General, is obtained. Then the purge process is commenced by shredding the paper records and disposal.
